J.C. Hyke is a singer songwriter who now lives in Santa Clarita, CA.   J.C. has a rich, traditional country voice and plays acoustic rhythm guitar.  He has a fantastic repertoire of original music and a highly acclaimed debut album.  J.C. and his band “The Gambling Scarecrows” opened for 2 major country acts, Brad Paisley and Montgomery Gentry, while living in the Seattle area from '04 - '09.

     Born in Dallas, Texas, and then moving to Pasadena, CA, he spent most of his childhood taking piano lessons and playing sports. At the age of 20, he learned to play acoustic guitar, and soon after learning his first 3 chords, he wrote his first song.  He has been fine tuning his craft ever since and truly loves country music.

     He moved to Nashville in September 2001, to take his career to the next level as a songwriter and as a recording artist.  J.C. took classes, workshops, and studied with some of music row’s best writers and producers.  His style is new traditional country, in the likes of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, and Kenny Chesney. He has been a member of the Songwriters Guild of America, the Nashville Songwriter's Association International, and ASCAP.  He performed in Nashville at the world famous Blue Bird Café, The Broken Spoke, Legends, The Hall of Fame Lounge, and The Boardwalk Café.

      JC 's debut album Fallin' was recorded mostly in Nashville with top music row musicians.  He has released the following singles since his debut album:  "The Tip Jar Song” (2012),  which has become a fan favorite in bar rooms around the country. "White Picket Fence" (2013)  was played worldwide on over 300 radio stations.  The new single is "Your Heart’s in Good Hands” (July 2016).  This is JC’s first ballad released as a single and it's a beautiful romantic, slow dancing song.

        JC has two wonderful adult daughters, Shelby & Kylie.  He is now married to his wife Marissa and they have a handsome little son Jaxon (age 3 ),  and a beautiful daughter Lyla (age 1). 

        He continues writing and pitching his songs to music row, and TV/Film.   JC  performs live around Southern California, and is making new loyal fans whenever he plays his original music.
